Research & Proposal Support

Paid-for research piece with deep dive into your brand on Amazon, the competition, the nature of the category and subcategories, with insights, recommendations and findings that you can use to inform your strategy.

Onboarding

Contract Call, Initial Scope of Work, Inception Call

During the Contract Call we take you through a high level process: the Service Descriptions, the Scope of Work Checklist, the RACi Table and T&Cs and conclude the initial Scope of Work with you. During the Inception Call Our Onboarding Specialist will run through the processes and orientate you on the project scope, roles and responsibilities, steps, and milestones.

Research: SEO, Competitors, and Landscape Review

RT7 conducts keyword research in detail on a key ASIN which is used for the wireframe or Mockup. This keyword research is conducted at brand, product range and product levels, and implemented in text, hidden keywords, and in the Store.

Account Setup

RT7 will assist you in setting up new accounts (Vendor or Seller), provided that all mandatory information that Amazon requires is provided. Note that this is mostly an automated Amazon process and all applications are subject to Amazon’s Terms and Conditions.

Brand Registry

Our Amazon Operations team will support you in applying for Brand Registry, or resolve Brand Registry issues you may be experiencing. Brand Registry is essential if you want to have a Brand Store or A+ content. Resolution is subject to Amazon time. Note that this is mostly an automated Amazon process and all applications are subject to Amazon’s Terms and Conditions.

SKU List, Variations, Account, and Assets Due Diligence

We conduct Due Diligence on your SKU List, Variation structure, Account, and brand assets in order to identify risk areas, anomalies, or mandatory requirements for RT7 to proceed with work. We require detailed brand guidelines (logos, colour palettes, styles, product and lifestyle images – all in workable file formats) from the Client, and high quality visual assets that conform with Amazon’s requirements. RT7 will not design a new brand for you but will modify your existing brand to be successful within Amazon’s context. If any important concerns emerge during Due Diligence that might impact the project, we will bring this to your attention.

Listing Blueprint

Detailed model copy layout for a key ASIN is used for the wireframe or Mockup, which employs the keyword research. The Blueprint covers all ATF (above the fold) and BTF (below the fold) content. It is followed throughout all subsequent listings.

Full Listing Mockup

We generate one full wireframe or Mockup on a key ASIN, which consolidates the keyword, competitor and landscape research, and blueprint design. Two rounds of revisions of the Mockup are included within the contract, and further revisions will be billed at the standard rate per hour.

Onboarding Project Management

Our Onboarding specialist takes you through the Onboarding programme, which typically ends with signoff of an approved Mockup and delivery of the Project Planner. We try our best to push you through Onboarding in 4-6 weeks; this follows a very structured process based on our experience of what works. We meet weekly and will open a POD chat for you on GChat. If you require alternative servicing arrangements please let us know.

Onboarding Report & Project Plan

Our Onboarding specialist will deliver this to you at the end of Onboarding. This is an Implementation Plan for delivery of the Content, Advertising and other services you have procured.

Implementation

Growth Plan

Our Growth Plan aims to support your business in achieving sustainable growth in the Amazon marketplace. This service involves a detailed evaluation of your past sales data, market trends and seasonality, and we’ll leverage that data to develop a customised marketing strategy that includes a growth forecast for the next 12 months. Note: if there are no past sales data, the Growth Plan can be provided only after at least 3 months of data.

Content Creation

Content creation occurs in batches, for which we require product information and a complete and approved SKU List with variations (if applicable). The SKU List must conform to RT7’s template (which is consistent with Amazon’s requirements). We request that Clients review submitted content as quickly as possible, since, if not, the project plan will be at risk. We require your review and signoff of each listing and batch before proceeding, and will entertain two rounds of revisions per batch. Further revisions will be billed at the standard rate per hour. RT7 completes a batch or batches over weekly cycles.

Listing images & A+ Content Creation

Listing images and A+ Content creation occurs during batch creation. We require your review and signoff of each listing and batch before proceeding, and will entertain two rounds of revisions per batch (meaning 3 rounds of comments from the Client). We request that Clients review submitted content as quickly as possible, since, if not, the project plan will be at risk. We require your review and signoff of each listing and batch before proceeding, and will entertain two rounds of revisions per batch. Further revisions will be billed at the standard rate per hour. Note: Alternatives are available for A+ Content, namely Premium A+. Brand Story is always included. Clients may select Premium or regular A+. RT7 will usually focus on the Brand in the A+ Content, and group A+’s by products or product range. RT7 will not customise A+ Content at SKU level, unless by Client request. RT7 completes a batch or batches over weekly cycles.

Video Editing or Creation

RT7 can provide production or editing services for video assets you require.

Brandstore Research, Blueprint & Mockup

Towards the end of Batch creation we brainstorm, blueprint, and mockup your Brand Store. This consolidates the keyword and competitor research. Two rounds of revisions of this Mockup are included within the contract, and further revisions will be billed at the standard rate per hour.

Brandstore Build

Following the ideation and mockup our team will create your Brandstore for your review and approval. We require your review and signoff of the Store before publication, and will entertain two rounds of revisions. Further revisions will be billed at the standard rate per hour. Publication of the Store is subject to Amazon’s policies and might take time (“Amazon time”).

Translations

RT7 will undertake direct translation into a foreign language from English source copy for any listings (ATF and BTF), and Brand Store. This does not include translations into English of source material.

Localisations

RT7 will render UK-English into language suitable for US or other English-speaking foreign markets.

Transcreations

RT7 will create new copy in a foreign language, or modify translated copy in a foreign language. Transcreations usually require substantially more time than translations.

Appeals on Accounts & Brand Registry

RT7 does not offer this service since it is highly specialised; we instead refer you to a trusted third party that we use for our own Appeals.

Inventory Forecasting & Management

RT7 will monitor your stock, and place FBA or Vendor orders on your behalf based on stocking rates, sales velocity, and expected sales volumes, in order to ensure you are adequately stocked.

Shortages, Chargebacks, Coops, Early Payment Discounts, Overages, and other Penalties (Vendor)

RT7 undertakes specialised Vendor recoveries service on your behalf, at risk. We require exclusive access to your Vendor account/s and your internal paperwork which is used to justify the dispute with or claim to Amazon.

Seller Fees Recovery

RT7 undertakes specialised Seller recoveries service on your behalf, at risk. We require exclusive access to your Seller account/s and recover erroneous fees levied by Amazon against your FBA deliveries and performance.

MyAmazonData

RT7 offers you the capability to synchronise all your Amazon accounts, across all marketplaces, into a single series of dashboards, with custom reporting and analytics. This enables you to see your performance across your entire Amazon environment. Development of custom metrics and views are also available, at a fee.

Images Upload Error Resolution

A+ Content Upload & Publication

Brand Name Updates

Our Amazon Operations Team will ensure your catalogue is accurately reflecting and all ASINs are linked to your Brand Registry. We will log up to three rounds of tickets to rectify any errors. Error resolution timeline is very difficult to determine.

Variation Creation

Our Amazon Operations Team will build your Variations as approved on the SKU List, which is finalised early in Onboarding. Please contact us if you wish to adjust your SKU List e.g. Include further SKUs or to switch SKUs. It may be that a Scope Change process is required in this latter case.

New Product Upload

Our Amazon Operations Team will upload or amend your Catalogue, and manage it according to your approved SKU List. Please contact us if you wish to adjust your SKU List e.g. Include further SKUs or to switch SKUs. It may be that a Scope Change process is required in this latter case.

Full Account Review, Audit & Forecast

This is an optional extra if a client requires an in-depth audit of all their existing accounts and needs RT7 to produce 6-12 month forecasts for specific products, product ranges, or brands.

Campaigns Strategy, Presentation & Approval

Our Advertising and Client Success Teams will share our Advertising Strategy with you for your approval. This Strategy guides KPIs and performance measurements. We strongly advise to work in 3-month sprints, but will share progress in standardised reports with you on a regular basis. If you require weekly reports this is available as an optional extra.

Campaigns Audit (if taking over existing AMS)

Our Advertising Team will conduct a high-level audit on your account when taking over in order to ensure the most optimal transition.

Campaigns Set up (for a new AMS)

Our Advertising Team will link your account/s to our Advertising software, Enigma.

Campaigns Build Out

Our Advertising Team will build out your campaigns structure according to the approved Strategy in a methodical manner; this can take up to 2 months to complete depending on the size of the approved SKU List. If you require us to build out campaigns at an individual ASIN or keyword level this is available as an optional extra.

Campaigns Audit & Refining

Our Advertising Team monitors your account on a daily basis to ensure budget pacing and other campaign features are in hand.

Monthly Management

Listing Update / Refresh (quarterly SEO)

As an alternative available option, RT7 will provide continuous SEO services for selected Listings or your Brand Store, based on priority. This includes reviewing and updating keywords, and split testing selected Listings as required.

CSM: Account Management & Reporting

RT7 provides you with reports on Account performance monthly. As an alternative available option we can provide summarised weekly reports, or provide access to a customised integrated dashboard that reflects performance, including all of your products, brands and marketplaces (MyAmazonData). This report is usually condensed into the Advertising report (see below).

Campaigns: Advertising Management & Reporting

RT7 provides you with reports on Advertising performance monthly. As an alternative available option we can provide summarised weekly reports, or provide access to a customised integrated dashboard that reflects performance, including all of your products, brands and marketplaces (MyAmazonData).

Enigma Advertising Suite @3% of Ad Spend (mandatory)

Enigma is our Advertising management software and we recover the fees to manage your advertising with a mandatory 3% of spend, charged monthly.

Ops Account Management

Once Implementation is signed off, our Amazon Operations Team will manage your account and provide standard or customised reports to the maximum hours identified in your contract, alternatively up to 20 hours per month (timesheets available on request). The operations team will process 3 requests at a time, but you can submit as many requests as you like. As an alternative available option we offer additional hours at a rate of £100/hour.

Listing Audit & Fix

Our Amazon Ops team conducts audits at least once a week to ensure all content (copy and images) are accurately and fully reflecting. Content can often be taken down (“suppressed”) by automated processes (bots) that Amazon runs for one of many reasons. Our Amazon Ops team will work diligently to identify and resolve the issue. Note that this resolution is subject to Amazon itself; we refer to “Amazon time”. Error resolution timeline is very difficult to determine.

Campaigns Audit & Fix

Our Advertising Team will conduct regular audits of your campaigns to identify and resolve issues that may be occurring; this could be for a variety of reasons.

Brandstore Audit & Fix

Our Content Team will conduct regular audits of your Brand store to identify and resolve issues that may be occurring; this could be for a variety of reasons.

Reviews Management

As an alternative available option, our Amazon Operations Team can monitor and escalate negative reviews or conduct Social Listening audits on your and your competitors’ products for your product management team.

Seller Buyer Messages

As an alternative available option we can monitor and interact with Buyers on your behalf.

Standard & Ad-hoc Reports

RT7 provides you with monthly reports on performance. As an alternative available option we can provide summarised weekly reports, or provide access to a customised integrated dashboard that reflects performance, including all of your products, brands and marketplaces (MyAmazonData). Ad-hoc reports are subject to the limitations of the hours you have procured from the RT7 Operations team; further hours are available upon request at £100/hour.

New Marketplace

As an alternative available option, our Amazon Operations Team can assist in setting up new accounts in a new marketplace, and migrating your catalogue into this market for a new launch.

Quarterly Business Review

As an alternative available option we undertake a review of your Organic, Paid and Account position to discuss with you on a quarterly basis. This is usually a meeting attended by all subject matter leaders attached to your account.

Vendor / Seller hybrid

As an alternative available option, our Amazon Operations Team can provide you with an estimate on setting up a new account (Vendor / Seller) and launching this new account.

FBA Conversion

As an alternative available option, our Amazon Operations Team can estimate on setting up a new fulfillment channel (either FBM or FBA) and migrating you from one to the other. Alternatively, we can provide you with an estimate to manage these two channels on an ongoing basis.

New SKUs

As an alternative available option, we can estimate on creating new Listings for you, expanding your list of ASINs being advertised, or being managed in your Account. Note that our performance metrics are linked only to the SKUs we manage.

DSP

As an alternative available option we can provide you with an estimate to manage your Amazon Programmatic Advertising.

Recoveries Service

RT7 will attempt to recover disputable charges, fees or penalties from Amazon on your behalf, on either Vendor or Seller accounts. This is subject to terms and conditions, and attracts a commission of 25% for any funds recovered.
