Our ethos of being driven by data continues to show impressive results – as they say numbers never lie.

In difficult trading conditions, RT7Digital experienced a 40% growth in overall revenue in 2022 over 2021.

This growth was mirrored in our performance for our Clients. While acting on their behalf, we saw adspend increase by 74.2%, and our campaigns attracted more than 1.1 billion impressions, resulting in 3.5 million click throughs. The overall costs of advertising (cost per click) increased by 15.5% as the competition increased across all the categories we manage. However the conversion rate also improved by 33% and as a result overall sales doubled over 2021, something we are proud of. We attribute this success to internal process improvements, better use of new and existing software, internal training, and investment into our advertising team.

RT7Digital also focused on testing new sponsored display and video campaigns in 2022, resulting in increased shopper engagement with ads. We also pushed our SEO services forward and improved the quality of clients and products under management. This positively impacted the return on advertising spend (ROAS) which improved by 16.1% YoY.

We saw a rise in activity during the Black Friday week and improved performance compared to the previous year, although the weekend itself was down YoY. Our advertising team also made better use of tracked share of voice data  to improve efficiency and respond to competitor movements.

We plan to continue to upskill and develop new strategies for clients in 2023, including launching DSP services and integrating AI into content and our Amazon strategy teams.
