The Brief
Hape is one of the world’s largest producers of wooden toys. Hape toys are both creatively designed and eco-friendly. Neither culture, nor language, nor gender inhibits the intuitive process of play.
Growing from selling in one region, they’ve expanded significantly on Amazon and now operate in three regions/countries. Hape has a skilled in-house team that handles their Amazon account management. However, in 2018, the company approached us with a short-term contract to create optimized content for products that already exist on Amazon but need special care.
Our Approach
With over 13 categories, we were tasked with refreshing existing listings, creating new copy, and optimizing product listings for a number of products. We did keyword research and used our insights based on high-volume and SEO-driven keywords and created optimized titles, bullet points, the product description as well as category nodes for those products.
After successfully creating listings for one region, Hape approached us with another contract to create content and optimize listings for other countries.
Listings provide all of the knowledge that a buyer needs to make a purchase, so they are the key to making Amazon sales. We managed to create compelling copy to drive buyers to purchase Hape products. We successfully worked with Hape in building the content that sets them apart from their competitors.
